The Preview Visit
	Many companies know that providing a preview visit for their new foreign employee (known as the ‘assignee’) is a valuable part of a successful relocation process. Allowing an assignee and family to get a taste of their new life in a new country, can help smooth the transition and relieve a lot of concerns before their first official day in the new country. These preview visits really helps to answer many of the questions assignee’s and their families may have, and make them feel more relaxed about their relocation and / or to make their final decisions, if they have not yet decided. 	Once an assignee and family have arrived, the job of getting to know the new home city / country really begins. An accompanied orientation can speed this process enormously, giving a firm grounding on everything from public transport use, shopping habits, health facilities and even places to eat. Cultural Training
	We offer two basic forms of cultural training – business briefings and family briefings. Business Briefings are for managers who wish to get the most out of working with their new colleagues. The course can cover local working practices, cultural habits, management and business ethics / processes and other related issues. Family Briefings are designed to help the whole family understand the local culture they are entering. The purpose of the course is to help the family overcome any concerns about their new environment in an atmosphere of support and with expert help on hand. Family Briefings may be offered in cooperation with child psychologists, if the family requests.
